What it is
Stanozolol ("Winstrol") is a DHT-derived steroid with a high anabolic-to-androgenic ratio, used for a lean, hard look and strength rather than mass. It does not convert to estrogen.[1]
How it works
Its 5α-reduced structure can't be potentiated in androgenic tissues, giving a favourable anabolic ratio; the 17α-methyl group makes it orally active but also hepatotoxic. It is non-aromatizable, so it adds no estrogen or water.[1]
Risks & side effects
Most important: Two health risks stand out: as an oral 17α-alkylated steroid it strains the liver, and it hits cholesterol and cardiovascular health hard (including raised blood pressure). Keep cycles short and bloodwork close.[1]
