Effects

  • Muscle hardness & definition: Highly valued for a dry, 'hard,' defined look because it does not aromatize and causes little water retention.[7][4]
  • Lean-mass preservation (cutting): Commonly used in cutting cycles to help preserve muscle while losing fat; weak as a standalone mass-builder.[2][8]
  • Anti-estrogen activity: Has mild anti-aromatase / anti-estrogen properties, which is why estrogen-related side effects are uncommon with it.[4]
  • Moderate anabolic effect: Moderate anabolic and mild-to-moderate androgenic activity versus testosterone; not a potent bulking agent.[8][3]
