Effects

  • Muscle hardening / cosmetic dryness: Valued in cutting and contest-prep phases for a hard, dry look rather than large mass gains; produces no estrogenic water retention.[2][3]
  • No aromatization to estrogen: As a DHT derivative it cannot be aromatized, so it does not cause estrogenic side effects and may even lower estrogen during a cycle.[1][2]
  • Lean recomposition / strength: Marketed as a strength and lean-mass support compound; its anabolic-to-androgenic ratio is roughly 62:25 versus testosterone's 100:100, so it is a relatively mild anabolic.[4]
  • Androgenic / masculinizing effects: Can cause acne, increased body/facial hair, voice deepening and increased sexual desire.[1]
