Effects

  • Fat loss / thermogenesis: Raises metabolic rate and increases energy expenditure and fat oxidation, the main reason it is misused in cutting phases.[1][4]
  • Bronchodilation: Relaxes airway smooth muscle, making breathing easier — its original therapeutic purpose.[1][2]
  • Stimulant effects: Acts as a longer-lasting stimulant than adrenaline or albuterol, producing tremor, palpitations and a raised resting heart rate.[6][8]
  • Muscle effects: Causes skeletal-muscle hypertrophy in rodents and is claimed to preserve lean mass, but human anabolic benefit is unproven.[4][5]
